Kids see dad die in prank on 300ft cliff
A DAD plunged to his death in front of his kids after a prank went wrong.
Grzegorz Jachec, 37, pretended to lose his balance on 300ft cliffs but slipped.
The Jachecs and two other families were visiting Land’s End in Cornwall.
One of the party, Rewuesc Pelech, told the Truro coroner: “Grzegorz was laughing and joking on a rock pretending to fall.
“The children were a metre away. I looked away for no more than a second and when I looked back he was nowhere to be seen.
“I thought he was joking around and would jump up but we went to the edge and saw marks on the grass leading to the cliff.”
The IT business owner from Ascot, Berks, died instantly from multiple injuries. Verdict: Accident.
