Michelle’s salary is Streets ahead after quitting Corrie
EX-Corrie star Michelle Keegan has raked in more than £1million since leaving the show just three years ago.
Michelle, who played Weatherfield glamour girl Tina McIntyre, earned £60,000 a year on the soap, where she was not allowed to endorse cosmetics and clothes.
But the actress, 30, has since picked up contracts including £250,000 a year as the face of Lipsy clothing, and got £150,000 to plug an Ambre Solaire self-tanning range. She has also starred in the BBC series Ordinary Lies and played footballer Bobby Moore’s wife in TV drama Tina and Bobby. Now cash deposits at her firm Rosia Promotions Limited have swelled to £1.2million. A showbiz source said: “Michelle had to turn down a number of lucrative deals while she was on Corrie. Now she is free to plug what she wants.”
