Russian spy at Trump Jr meeting over Hillary ‘dirt’
New twist in Moscow links probe
A FORMER Russian spy has revealed he was in a meeting with Donald Trump Jr to plot against Hillary Clinton.
It was claimed previously that Moscow lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya saw only the President’s eldest son, his son-in-law Jared Kushner and election chief Paul Manafort.
Now ex-Soviet counterintelligence official Rinat Akhmetshin has admitted he was there, too. The Trump family has also revealed an interpreter was present.
The meeting took place after Veselnitskaya said she had damaging revelations on Trump’s election rival Clinton.
The information will be passed to Robert Mueller’s investigation of possible Russian interference in the Presidential campaign. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, has made a grovelling apology after emailing a critic saying: “Watch your back, b **** ”.
