SAM JOHNSTONE has joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan.

The Manchester United keeper (right) returns to Villa having made 22 appearances for the club following an initial switch in January. “I am delighted to be back,” he said. “I really enjoyed my last spell here – it’s a great club with top players and passionate fans. I can’t wait to get started now.”
