Sleeping on job ‘a boost’

FIRMS could boost output by letting workers have a snooze after lunch, a sleep expert claims.

Professor Graham Law said kip was linked to bodily rhythms which take a dip after eating.

Citing the siesta in Mediterran­ean countries Prof Law, of Lincoln University, said that if UK workers had a nap instead of “struggling through” productivi­ty could benefit.
