The write idea for Love Island’s Cara

So what happens when you win Love Island?

Well, if you’re 2016 champ Cara de la Hoyde, you’re quite busy. Cara, who is pregnant with fellow Islander Nathan Massey’s baby – despite their split in April – is writing an “empowering book for single mums”.

She tells us: “It’s nice I get to sit down and write. It’s a mix of everything. It’s about me, Love Island, the baby, what it’s like to be pregnant on your own, to a certain degree, and relationships.

“People are looking at me, at Nathan, and how we’re coping. We’re really grown-up about it. There are other couples who aren’t as grown-up.”
