CHARLOTTE EDWARDS believes England will see off South Africa in today’s World Cup semi-final and fulfil their dream of a sold-out Lord’s showpiece.

England scored 373-5 against the Proteas earlier in the tournament – Tammy Beaumont hitting 148 and Sarah Taylor 147 in a 68-run win – and former captain Edwards (right) is sure they’ll reach Sunday’s final. She said: “England are definitely favourites. If they play anywhere near their potential they’ll win.

“They’re at home and there’s a Lord’s final on offer, that’s what dreams are made of.”
