ANDY MURRAY has visited a hip specialist in Switzerland – and will now discuss the results of tests with his team back in the UK.

The world No.1 returned to Wimbledon on Sunday to watch his brother Jamie claim the mixed doubles title with Martina Hingis.

The defending champion suffered a painful quarter-final defeat to Sam Querrey last Wednesday – and said he would then seek further medical help on his nagging hip injury.

He posted a photo on his Instagram account of Swiss mountains on Sunday.

The Scot is due to play next at the Rogers Cup in Montreal on August 7. The final Grand Slam of the season, the US Open, begins in New York on August 28.
