Arno is a Hammer
WEST HAM have finally clinched a deal for Marko Arnautovic after agreeing a club-record £24million fee with Stoke.
The Hammers’ persistence paid off when the Potters accepted their third offer for the Austrian.
Stoke were holding out for as much as possible, as they agreed to pay Werder Bremen 20 per cent of any future fee when they bought Arnautovic in 2013.
Agreeing personal terms with Arnautovic should be a formality. He will be West Ham’s third summer signing, after a season-long loan for Manchester City’s keeper Joe Hart and ex-City star Pablo Zabaleta on a free.
