Morata is Real deal for Conte

The move for Morata, 24, is a statement of intent from Chelsea to show their support for Conte, after he signed an improved contract. And the club are ready to spend more on reinforcements.
Morata said last night: “I am very happy. God willing tomorrow I will be at Chelsea. A club that has always wanted me.“
Conte’s new contract doubles his salary to £10m a year, but does not extend his deal beyond 2019.
Doubts about whether he is in for the long haul remain, amid tensions between him and Blues director Marina Granovskaia over transfers.
