This meddling stops people making plans

THIS is a huge blow to people aged 39 to 47, but will also set alarm bells ringing for anyone younger, who will fear the pension age will continue to rise at a faster rate.

Many already believe they will literally be forced to work until they drop, despite years of graft and paying into the system.

Life expectancy is levelling off, so the rise on the grounds of affordability is less justified. We need a break from meddling with pensions. It has led to confusion and that is preventing people from planning properly and for their old age.
