Sex cases on trains double

SEX offences on trains have doubled in the past five years.

British Transport Police figures, included the London Underground, show 1,448 reports in 2016-17, up from 650 in 2012-2013.

Most involved females of 13 and above. Campaigners said the figures reflect how more women are being encouraged to report offences.
