Digital Today, Disc July 31 Joan Collins has always been more famous for her love life and her TV role in Dynasty than her achievements as a film star. There’s no denying she’s a trouper, but it’s a bit sad if this mawkish and laugh-free comedy is the only big-screen work she can get. She stars, alongside Pauline Collins, as a friendless, foul-mouthed former Hollywood star striking out for the South of France, hoping for a second chance at life. This sedate road trip is unfunny and terminally insipid.
