Mahrez has to dig deep - King
RIYAD MAHREZ has been warned by his Leicester team-mates that they will “dig him out” if he downs tools in search of a move.
The 26-year-old winger hit a fine goal in the Asia Trophy against West Brom on Wednesday night before the Foxes triumphed on penalties.
Midfielder Andy King praised Mahrez’s application in the pre-season encounter, but said: “A lot of us have been together for a long time and we are not going to let anyone down tools. Riyad knows the way we work – if he isn’t going to put it in then he will get dug out for that.”
