Maybe winning the Nobel Prize for literature has gone to his head but Bob Dylan has loosened the notoriousl­y strong grip on his songs and given permission for them to be used in this play. It’s the musical backdrop to a story about a couple in 1930s depression-era America, and the hard rain that comes down on them and those who stay in their guesthouse in Duluth, Minnesota (where Dylan himself was born). It stars Shirley Henderson and Ciaran Hinds, and is one of the big shows of the summer.
