EVERTON BID IS HEALTHY FOR GROSICKI

-

EVERTON boss Ronald Koeman wants to throw relegated Hull’s Kamil Grosicki a Premier League lifeline.

Koeman is ready to pay £7.7million for the 29-year-old Polish winger, who is keen to quit the Tigers this summer.

Grosicki (below) has already rejected a move to Bundesliga outfit Freiburg because he wants to carry on playing in England’s top flight – and his representatives want to open talks with the Toffees.

Newcastle, Watford and Crystal Palace are also interested in Grosicki.

But Koeman is in pole position to land the wide-man, who only joined Hull from French club Rennes in January.

Koeman is a long-time admirer and tried to sign him during his time in charge at Southampton.

Hull have already sold seven top stars this summer, and new boss Leonid Slutsky insists no more big names will be leaving the East Yorkshire club in this transfer window.

But Koeman will severely test their resolve by offering to hand Hull the fee they paid Rennes for Grosicki six months ago.
