BORO EXIT SEES STU WANT REIGN IN SPAIN

MIDDLESBROUGH’S Cristhian Stuani has joined LaLiga club Girona for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder, 30, (right) a Uruguay international, scored 16 goals in 66 appearances since arriving in 2015. Stuani, who links up with former teammate Bernardo, played a big part in Boro’s promotion to the Premier League in 2016 before relegation last season.
