Vicky: I was in therapy after jungle victory..

-

VICKY Pattison has revealed she need therapy to cope with her “meteoric” rise to fame following her I’m A Celebrity victory.

The former Geordie Shore star, 29, consulted celebrity therapists Nik and Eva Speakman to help her cope.

“They helped with the transition between being unknown and post-jungle,” she said.

“It was a very meteoric rise and I’m not sure anyone’s ready for it. I wasn’t. I had to get some help on how to deal with it properly because I wasn’t dealing with it well.”

The star says she contacted the show’s most recent winner, fellow Geordie Scarlett Moffatt, to offer a helping hand should she struggle in the limelight, too.

Vicky says: “I caught up with Scarlett a couple of time. She told me she moved down, and I said to her, ‘Listen babe, If you’re ever lonely, or you don’t know anyone, give us a shout.’ I’m always there for a Geordie in need.

“But she’s been so busy, she’s having the year I had last year – there’s not a lot of time for socialising.

“I can see she’s got a great support system around her.

“Her mum and dad are very protective and supportive and that’s important to keep her humble and grounded and to make sure she’s not alone.

“She’s working so hard it could be difficult, but I think she’s got the balance right.”

Vicky, right, models her new Unapologetically You collection with Ann Summers to promote body confidence.

She said: “I want better for young girls. I don’t want them to be hung up on unrealistic images of perfection. It’s OK to be a real woman – we’re beautiful exactly as we are.”

Vicky, who has responded to online trolls criticising her body shape, says: “I’m 30 this year and I’m finally in a place where I’m comfortable and confident in my own skin.

“I want the same for all women everywhere.”

The star will celebrate her birthday with a holiday with her new fiance, John Noble.
