EVERYMAN MOVES UP A GEAR
Posh cinema firm Everyman is stepping up growth as customers flock to its screens.
The group, which offers fluffed-up cushions, freshly made pizza and red wine, said that demand for its “home from home” experience was strengthening around the UK. It said new openings were planned next year in York, Liverpool and Newcastle and in London’s Borough Market in 2020.
Everyman, which currently runs 21 cinemas, said it had performed in line with expectations in the first half of the year.
It has high hopes for new titles Dunkirk, Cars 3 and Captain Underpants.
