Kop flop Lazar an £8m target for Hornets & Tigers

WATFORD and Hull are in an £8million fight for Liverpool washout Lazar Markovic.

Kop boss Jurgen Klopp is set to ditch Markovic, 23, and is prepared to take a £13m hit on the Serbia winger.

Markovic (above) has failed to make an impact since arriving at Anfield, as a £21m capture from Benfica three years ago, managing just 19 Premier League appearances for the Reds.

Now he is up for grabs at a knockdown price, following disappointing loan spells at Fenerbahce and Sporting Lisbon.

But the Hornets and the Tigers are both keen to hand him the chance to resurrect his career.
