Turking a chance on Wilshere

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

TURKISH club Antalyaspor are ready to offer Jack Wilshere a chance to revive his career.

Midfielder Wilshere has been told he is free to leave Arsenal this summer after failing to land a permanent move to Bournemouth following a season-long loan.

Italians Sampdoria have registered the strongest interest but their £7.5m bid for the injury-prone England international, who has a year left on his contract, was rejected.

Antalyaspor have now entered the race to sign the 25-year-old but fear a deal will be hard to complete.

Club president Ali Safak Ozturk said: “Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere. It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
