Bright outlook for Lionesses
MILLIE BRIGHT has urged England to keep their foot on the pedal against Portugal on Thursday – even though they only need to avoid defeat to win Group D at Euro 2017.
The Chelsea defender was denied her first international goal when her header was disallowed for offside in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Spain.
But Bright said: “We’ll recover and refocus – there’s still a job to be done against Portugal.
“We need to stay switched on, and hopefully end the group on a high.”
