1986 v NEW ZEALAND

THIS was a special game for me for a couple of reasons. I had been banned by ‘the suits’ for three months for some comments I had made that didn’t go down well, so after learning to fly a helicopter I was back to face New Zealand. When I sent down an inswinger to my mate Jeff Crowe and he played all round it, I had my 356th Test wicket which meant I had broken Dennis Lillee’s world record. It was a great moment at a great ground.
