Terrier helps cops find OAP
A PET terrier found an elderly woman missing for 14 hours after joining 20 searching police officers of his own accord.
Sgt Barry Evans, of Durham Police, said of the hunt in Barmpton, Darlington: “Flash laid down near a hedgerow.
“He appeared to be indicating. This led a family member to discover the woman, apparently unhurt.” Flash’s owner Eijah Ward, 10, said: “He’s a little hero.”
