NORTH Sea cod is back on the shelves in Morrisons after an absence of more than 20 years.
The supermarket has begun selling home-caught cod after the Marine Stewardship Council declared stocks “sustainable” again.
Restrictions on catches have increased stocks, which were on the verge of collapse in 2006.
A Morrisons spokeswoman said: “Customers want British cod caught by British boats.”
