Peanut death from a crisp
A WOMAN allergic to peanuts died after eating a peanut-flavoured crisp.
Georgina Hickman, 24, had checked the packet but nuts were not listed.
She ate just one crisp, saying they were “horrible”, then had a severe allergic reaction that starved her brain of oxygen, an inquest in Winchester was told.
A doctor said Georgina, from Southampton, showed all the symptoms of a peanut allergy.
Verdict: Accident.
