BBC2, 8pm Chloe has set up residence in an East London nail salon, but she’s having trouble making friends. You see, Rocky has always been top dog at the salon and is not interested in newcomers.

I should point out that Chloe is a Chihuahua – but it seems the trials and tribulations in a dog’s life are all too real. Dog behaviourist Louise Glazebrook is even brought in to broker some peace deals between the hounds. Whether she’ll have any success or not remains to be seen.

From toilet training and first walks to sleepless nights and mayhem, this is the latest series to film the lives of puppies.

But it’s not all belly rubs and fetching sticks. Watch out for border collie Jura who joins a ski patroller in the highlands of Scotland.

Her owner Will wants to train her to become the Nevis Range’s first avalanche search-and-rescue dog.
