Take Gard for good!

NOTTINGHAM FOREST aim to sign Gary Gardner for a third time – but permanently this time.

Aston Villa midfielder Gardner, 25, has had two successful loan spells at Championship Forest.

He has appeared 40 times for the Reds and scored six goals during two loans in 2015 and 2016.

Gardner penned a new deal at Villa Park in December 2016, but has still only made 23 league starts in total for the club.
