LOOKING carefree as she poses for the camera, this is the teacher exposed by an educational panel as a member of the “mile high club”.
Eleanor Wilson, 28, was snapped in New York, and other pictures also to emerge yesterday show her dressed as a sultry Wild West girl and standing in a group said to include a former pupil.
She is now barred from teaching after romping with a lad during a flight home from a 2015 school trip to Switzerland.
Wilson was found to have had sex with the pupil, who had drunk five minibottles of wine, in a toilet. Back home, she began a relationship with him.
It came to light when a pupil allegedly tried to blackmail her into sex. She was dismissed in May 2016 and earlier this month, a panel found her guilty of unac- ceptable conduct and bringing the profession into disrepute. A spokesman for the unnamed school said: “We unreservedly condemn Ms Wilson’s actions.”
But Wilson’s brother Jethro, 26, claimed she had been set up. Jethro, of Keighley, West Yorks, said: “She didn’t get sacked she left because of all the hassle from the younger students.
“The police haven’t prosecuted her because she hasn’t done anything wrong. Nothing happened on the plane or anywhere. A student can easily say one thing that has ruined a teacher’s career.”
He added that Wilson is currently in training with the Royal Navy.
Avon and Somerset police said that last year “a 28-year-old woman voluntarily attended at a police station and enquiries are ongoing”. The Navy said: “It would be inappropriate to comment.”
