Larry can’t curb his enthusiasm

Larry David says he brought back Curb Your Enthusiasm as he missed the “idiots” in it – even though it is about him.

A 10-episode ninth season starts in October and he said he enjoyed writing it after six years off air. Larry, below, admitted: “You know, I’m not a misser. I don’t really miss things, people, that much.

“But I was missing these idiots. So I thought, ‘Yeah, what the hell?’. And I got tired of people asking me, ‘Is the show coming back?’. I couldn’t face that question any more.”

Speaking at the TCAs in Los Angeles, Larry said he has often thought of ending the show, adding: “I like to quit things too. It’s a very satisfying thing. Did you ever go up to a boss and say, ‘I’m done’? It’s fun.”
