The Crash Bandicoot revival tells you there’s a lot of people out there who enjoy a well-made remake of a classic title. And that’s exactly what we have here.

Wipeout was a PlayStation classic back in the 90s and the same formula holds true 20 years later: blistering speed, slick visuals and some great tunes.

This collection comprises three games from the futuristic racing franchise’s back catalogue (Wipeout HD, Wipeout HD Fury and Wipeout 2048) all replicated in 4K resolution with a bolstered 60fps frame rate. There are over 60 tracks to blaze through and several weapons to use on your friends through the two-player split screen or eightplayer online multiplayer. There’s a lot of content here so it offers value for money but keep in mind that you’re paying for a polished version of a 20-year-old game. That said, we doubt most nostalgic gamers will mind taking Wipeout for another spin.
