WELLS’ TIME RUNS DRY

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

NAHKI WELLS has been told by Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner that he can go.

Wagner says that Wells’ first-team chances will be limited after he splashed out a total of £15million on strikers Steve Mounie and Laurent Depoitre.

The Bermuda hitman, who was the Terriers’ record £1.3m signing from Bradford in 2014, is in the final year of his contract and has attracted interest from Reading.

“Everybody can see the high quality of the strikers we’ve brought in,” said Wagner. “And we still have Elias Kachunga and Collin Quaner, who play up front.”
