Vitamin E is vital for girls
TEENAGE girls must eat more broccoli, nuts and seeds to protect their future children’s intelligence, say researchers.
Foods rich in vitamin E also cut the risk of offspring becoming diabetic.
US Scientists in Oregon tested zebrafish, whose brain wiring is like that of humans. Dr Maret Traber said fish lacking in vitamin E as embryos “were stupid and didn’t respond right”.
The NHS said women should get all the vitamin E they need from their diet.
