Charles rules at the Games

PRINCE Charles will stand in for the Queen at the opening of the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia next April.

The Queen is Head of the Commonwealth but at 91 she no longer does longhaul travel so has asked Charles to open the Games on the Gold Coast instead.
