Rose-tinted view of late Princess

-

I didn’t watch the Windsor princes’ documentary about their mother Diana because I had other things on, and everyone knows a sock drawer isn’t going to sort itself out, is it? Reading about it though, it seems she was portrayed as the perfect mum.

Paul Burrell said he was moved by how honest it was, claiming it perfectly captured Diana’s maternal devotion: “William and Harry, or ‘ma boys’ as she called them, came before everything – even herself,” he said.

Yet in the same documentary her boys say they didn’t see her for a month before her death. And that was August, when they were off school. And she had no job.

I might be missing something here, but that has to be the weirdest definition of putting your kids before yourself.
