Wills’ rescue on last shift
PRINCE William had a harrowing final shift as an air ambulance pilot after flying medics to the scene of a serious car crash.
The Duke helped a woman with “complex serious head injuries” after she was hit by a police van on a 999 call near Norwich.
The patient was flown to Addenbrooke’s hospital near Cambridge. Her condition is “critical”.
A source at East Anglian Air Ambulance said: “The team certainly proved their worth last night.”
