TEARFUL Nasser Hussain quit as England’s Test cricket captain, admitting he had grown “tired and stale”. Michael Vaughan was installed as the new skipper ahead of the second Test against South Africa at Lord’s. Hussain said: “After four-anda-bit years, the job can become a bit repetitive. I wasn’t on the boil enough any more.”
