Harry wild about Def

JERMAIN DEFOE is not showing any signs of slowing down, according to Bournemouth team-mate Harry Arter.

Defoe, 34, returned to the Cherries this summer, 17 years after he spent a season on loan at the south coast club.

Arter said: “Jermain has embraced being here. It is almost like he has been here for years.

“He is full of energy and is probably the sharpest in training and I’m really looking forward to working with him.

“All he wants to do is carry on scoring goals and that’s something that is only going to benefit us.”
