INTER MILAN want Anthony Martial in exchange for Ivan Perisic.
The Italian giants have suggested a loan deal plus cash with Manchester United unwilling to meet their £45million valuation of Croatian winger Perisic
Perisic, 28, is desperate to work with Jose Mourinho but talks reached an impasse so Inter have asked for Martial on a season-long loan deal to smooth the waters. German club Wolfsburg have also inquired about him.
Martial, bought for £36milion two years ago, impressed in his debut campaign under Louis van Gaal but struggled at Old Trafford last season.
United boss Mourinho is increasingly confident of signing Nemanja Matic from Chelsea in a deal worth up to £40m.
Chelsea had put a £50m price-tag on Matic but recognised they risked pricing the Serbia international out of a move.
Juventus were also sniffing around Matic but have since turned their attention to PSG’s France star Blaise Matuidi.
Juve were unable to match the £140,000-aweek salary United are offering Matic.
