BAYERN REVEAL BLUES SANCHES BID
BAYERN MUNICH have confirmed Chelsea want to sign their Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches.
Antonio Conte asked Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti about the 19-year-old here in Singapore when he impressed in a 3-2 friendly win against the Premier League champions.
The German club’s chief executive KarlHeinz Rummenigge said: “There are at least 10 teams that would take Sanches on loan. After the match on Tuesday, Conte asked us for information on the lad as he knows he can make a difference in the middle of the park.
“The lad wants to play regularly, but Ancelotti was pleased with his performance against Chelsea.”
Sanches is no longer in Ancelotti’s plans following the signing of Corentin Tolisso from Lyon. Manchester United and AC Milan, however, would also like the teenager who was part of Portugal’s Euro 2016-winning team.
