Airport swap for Marmite

AN airport has come to the rescue of Marmite lovers who have it confiscated when they fly overseas.

They will be able to swap their 100g jar – which breaches the hand luggage limit – for a legal 70g one instead.

Bosses at London City Airport said the spread was the most confiscated food item taken from bags.

Seized Marmite will be given to charity. An airport spokesman said: “Love it or hate it, you’ll be able to get your Marmite fix travelling from London City.”
