Tragic teen’s texts saved from mobile

- BY NATHAN SANDHU

A DEVASTATED mother feared treasured texts from her late daughter were lost for ever when she dropped her phone down the loo.

But Dawn Cubin now has them back after a repair shop worked all night to retrieve them.

Dawn, 51, and husband Andy, 54, lost only child Hannah at 14 to an undetected heart condition last December.

Hannah and her mum, from Crudwell, Wilts, sent thousands of texts that “meant the world”.

One of them read: “Going to bed now. Night, night. Love you. xxx”

Repairer Adie Lanc said: “I really felt for her. I knew I had to get it working.”

Hannah had dreamed of following in the footsteps of her BA pilot father, a former Red Arrows flyer.
