Lee’s a class act

Simon Webbe says Blue buddy Lee Ryan is a better actor than all of Take That.

Lee returns to EastEnders as Woody soon, while Robbie Williams had a cameo in 1995 and Gary Barlow’s stint in Corrie was only in an ad with some meerkats.

“Lee is a great actor,” loyal Si says. “You don’t just walk on to EastEnders because you’re from Blue. There have been other bands like Take That, who I doubt have had a call going: ‘Can you come and do the show?’.”

Simon, whose solo album Smile is out next month, adds: “I’m very proud of my brother.”
