Ake’s pop at Conte

NATHAN AKE slammed Chelsea boss Antonio Conte’s claims that young players at Stamford Bridge are ‘impatient’.

Ake quit the Blues to reunite with Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe in a club record £20million deal following six months on loan at the Cherries.

The Dutch defender said: “I understand what he said, but Chelsea is a big club and it was going to be difficult to come in and play straight away.

“The decision to come here was to be able to play more games, which is important for me.”

Ake was in action as Bournemouth lost 1-0 to Valencia at home.
