Feeding woe of new mums
FOUR in 10 new mums are put off breastfeeding within 24 hours after struggling to get the baby to latch on, a study found.
More than a quarter admitted feeling clueless and one in 10 turned to bottle feeding as breastfeeding was too painful.
Mumsnet also found more than half gave up at six to eight weeks.
