Trophy hunt horror show
GLORIFYING the slaughter of animals to feed a sick bloodlust is a TV horror show.
If the plug isn’t pulled immediately on the twisted trophy-hunting television channel we hope the backlash against Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke will force the billionaire to see sense.
Because his reputation is unlikely to be worth the few quid his company expects to make profiting from killing for fun.
Dressing up the shooting of an elephant or lion as “conservation” won’t wash when we know this is really all about charging human predators £7.60 a month to enjoy the nauseating thrill of watching wild animals die.
Like many rich men, Kroenke – an American tycoon who is Arsenal’s majority shareholder – seems to think he can do what he wants.
But the expected protests will prove him wrong. Promoting trophy hunting will not endear him to the British public – certainly not to Arsenal fans, fed up with their club winning few trophies of its own in recent years.
This hunting station is unethical and we want it off the air as soon as possible.
