It’s the final episode in this new crime drama series and copper Helen (MyAnna Buring) must now be minutes away from giving birth.

But before she does, there’s the matter of figuring out who murdered her dead partner and why. Paul was killed seemingly minding his own business at a bus stop, the innocent victim of a woman who crashed her car after accidentally getting caught up in a gangland shooting.

But Helen’s detective senses are telling her that actually there’s nothing accidental about any of it. And that her lover – and one of two possible fathers of her baby – might not have been that innocent after all.

Especially after finding out he was friends with old school underworld crim Frank Linnell (Tim McInnerny).

But getting answers from anyone on the estate where the lads in the gang live is proving impossible – not even that giant bump is getting her any sympathy or help.

And it’s not just pregnant paranoia – there is definitely someone trying to stop her getting to the truth.
