BRAZILIAN CAN SHINE FOR SILVA
WATFORD are close to finalising a £11.2million deal with Fluminense for winger Richarlison. New head coach Marco Silva identified pace and width as key areas where his squad needs strengthening. And after selling winger Steven Berghuis to Feyenoord for £5.6m, he moved to reinvest all of it, and as much again, on Richarlison (left), who has been winning rave reviews in Rio de Janeiro. Brazilian sources claim Fluminense president Pedro Abad has given the green light for the 20-year-old to leave for Vicarage Road. Watford lead the chase for Arsenal leftback Kieran Gibbs, although Silva is stalling over the £14m asking price.
