Claws out for Gibson

SUNDERLAND could punish Darron Gibson for criticising team-mates during a pub rant. The midfielder’s foulmouthed tirade followed a 5-0 home defeat to Celtic. A Black Cats statement said: “Darron Gibson has not conducted himself in a manner befitting Sunderland Football Club. We will initiate our internal disciplinary process to deal with the matter. “Darron has apologised.” Gibson told fans, “We’re f ****** s***. There are too many people at the club who don’t give a f***” and suggested that would apply to Lamine Kone, Jeremain Lens and Wahbi Khazri.
