Waste find in Corrie hunt
POLICE searching for RAF gunner Corrie McKeague’s body have found “material” at an incinerator plant.
Specialist officers spent 20 weeks searching a landfill site but uncovered no trace of the 23-year-old.
Focus then shifted to an energy-from-waste facility and police have recovered “material that requires further examination”.
It is believed Corrie may have ended up in a bin lorry after a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on September 24 last year.
